Re 100% chicoree soluble substitute for coffee

Just found out that chicoree is rich in inulin so maybe not a good idea? Still can't find out if soluble or insoluble fibre.

it's a variety that's pretty likely to cause gas and bloating for some people. However, my guess is that you're not getting very much inulin in a brewed cup of chicory coffee at all.
