my mom bastes the turkey with butter throughout the whole time it is cooking! Does this make it unsafe for me? Should I not eat it?

I might be wrong.... but I PERSONALLY think as long as you eat white meat and don't touch the skin...(it is hard, but your tummy will thank you) you should be ok...... it's baked, not fried. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

or I eat what mom cooks- she keeps kosher so no dairy involved in turkey at all anyway, btu she's in GA and making a duck this year!
