Hi Shelby - if by marshmallow creme you mean the fluff, I think it's safe, because I've seen others use it for Rice Krispies Treats. Also, here are subs for dairy, including a few for sweetened condensed milk, so hopefully that will help you out: Dairy Subs

...there's always non-dairy fudge, which seems to have gotten rave reviews.

Is marshmallow creme safe to use for making candy? It is so hard to make candy without butter, cream and all the other good ingredients that make something really yummy. I also make Russell Stover candy but it calls for eagle brand milk and I am pretty sure it is a no no. ANY CANDY MAKERS OUT THERE. PLEASE GIVE ME SOME TIPS.
Shelby

Hi Shelby, nice to see you....I don't have any answers or tips for you, but wanted to say that if you run across a good sub for sweetened condensed milk (not using soy anything) let me know, ok? I have a candy recipe..that I think is supposed to end up something like a Mounds candy bar that calls for it. It would almost be worth risking an attack just to make and eat the stuff!!! Yumm...

Happy Holidays, Kandee
