Hello -

Ask if dishes can be altered to make them safer for you. It's usually simple for a restaurant to leave off the cheese, saute something with less oil, add extra rice or pasta or a baked potato for your soluble fiber foundation, put sauce on the side, etc.

You're not being a difficult customer, you're taking care of your health.

Find more help in the restaurant section of Eating for IBS.

You are not alone!

P.S. If you have any questions or comments I'd love to hear them - just reply to this email to reach me directly. I am overwhelmed with emails but I try to answer everyone.

To taming your tummy,
Heather
