Weight Watchers/menopause/anti-depressant meds?       06/02/03 05:06 PM Edit Reply Quote BL Reged: 06/01/03 Posts: 3522 Being newly diagnosed with IBS-C, I have a lot of questions. First, I am trying to follow Weight Watchers as well as Heather's diet. Has anyone else done this? How do you mesh the two eating plans together? Can I still lose weight doing both? Two, I was wondering if there is a connection between menopause and IBS. I am approaching that age and will be seeing the gyn doc soon and just wondered. Third, Heather, could you explain the serotonin level/anti-depressant link with IBS? I've read that sometimes an antidepressant helps with IBS, but I'm not sure what the connection is.
