A recipe from my friend Alyssa... all the comments and such are hers... obviously, serve with whatever burger toppings are safe for you.

MUSHROOM TURKEY BURGERS
1 lb. ground turkey 1 - 1 1/2 cups chopped brown mushrooms (I use portobello) 1 clove garlic, minced Salt, black pepper, and italian seasoning to taste
Mix all ingredients thoroughly; form into patties of desired size. Grill or pan-fry until golden brown and thoroughly cooked. I like to serve them burgerlike with mozzerella, lettuce and tomato.
NOTES: The proportion of mushrooms to turkey is muchly variable- I never measure and I might be a little off here with what I listed- it likely shouldn't exceed a 50/50 ratio, but as long as there's enough meat to keep the patties holding together appropraitely, feel free to keep adding mushrooms. One clove of garlic will make this amount of turkey pleasantly garlicky, but if you're not too keen on it, use less, or if you want your breath to be reallly aromatic, use more.
