I've seen them that look like poaching pans, and I've also seen little single-egg freestanding "dishes" with lids (those are the ones I have experience with). They do an egg in about a minute, without splattering all over the inside of the microwave. If you just *must* try it now, I'd say to use a very small plastic bowl and cover it with waxed paper. One egg (or an egg's worth of egg beaters, whatever!) probably won't take more than a minute. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
