Most angel food cake mixes I've seen are safe. I may have seen one with dairy in it, so watch out for that... when in doubt try the generic store brands, they're more likely to be dairy free. Other than that angel food cakes by nature contain only egg whites and are low fat, so you should be perfectly safe with a mix!
