How much applesauce for butter?       04/18/03 03:17 PM Edit Reply Quote KinOz Reged: 02/02/03 Posts: 909 Loc: Brisbane, Australia Hi guys, I found an old muffin recipe book that I used to use all the time. It has heaps of recipes that would be IBS safe except for the fact that butter is included in some of the ingredients. My question is how much applesauce would replace the butter? Most of the recipes call for about 75-100g butter. I believe this is about 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 ounces. If anyone can give me some ideas I will start kitchen testing them and then posting the recipes if they are successful.
