i'm IBS-C/D... i never know which one i'll be from day to day. makes life... interesting.

i tolerate oatmeal just fine on days where i'm feeling good when i wake up. if i wake up less feeling than GREAT, though, i skip the oatmeal and go straight for the cream of rice, because it's about a 50/50 chance that i'll feel sick after oatmeal.

i can't believe cream of rice is that expensive where you are! i don't know how much it is here offhand but it can't be more than like 2 dollars a box. hmm

well, i guess if you can afford the $1 for the cylinder grits, you might as well try it. or if your roommate (if you have one) or your family likes grits, they can eat the rest if it doesn't sit well with you (or if you hate it or something

)
