Sieve v. Collander       03/09/04 05:23 PM Edit Reply Quote Bevvy Reged: 11/04/03 Posts: 5918 Loc: Northwest Washington State I think of a sieve as a fine filter, similar to a sifter (think of sifting flour), whereas a collander has bigger holes in it; something fine like flour would just go right through it.
