My praise for Shanna's banana bread came from years of experiencing banana bread that was not very good. As a result, I decided a long time ago I didn't like banana bread, and I never ate it. When I saw Shanna's recipe, I was looking for something to have for breakfasts (I hate cereal), and she said this is what she has every morning, toasted. I decided I would break my ban on the stuff and give this recipe a try. I was VERY pleasantly surprised, and haven't been able to get enough of it since.
I never tried any other recipe, including yours, Heather -- so I had no comparison. I should not have suggested any recipe over yours.
Heather, please accept my apologies. I have a big mouth.
