Scrod - type of fish and other comments       02/10/04 12:15 PM Edit Reply Quote ag5t Reged: 03/11/03 Posts: 36 Loc: Houston, Texas Our family has been trying a type of fish called Scrod - if any of you ever order from Schwann's, you might have tried it or seen it. It seem ok to me and it tastes fine. Has anyone else tried this kind of fish? I know it's frozen and not fresh, but it's been ok. I've also had good luck with some of the frozen vegetables - just make sure you cook them long enough so they are soft. -- Also have found an olive oil butter substitute that's pretty good - I can't remember the brand but the plastic bowl has a green lid.
