Yummy butterscotch apple cake       02/08/04 09:16 AM Edit Reply Quote berky Reged: 06/26/03 Posts: 171 Loc: New York state LOVE this cake! 1 cup canola oil ( you can use less) 4 egg whites 2 cups sugar 2 1/2 cups white flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 3 cups raw peeled and chopped apples (I use granny smith) 1 cup chopped pecans (optional) 1 11. oz pkg. butterscotch morsels Mix egg whites, sugar and oil together. Add other ingredients, except the morsels and mix well. Spread in a greased and floured (use pam spray with flour) 13 by 9 in. pan. Sprinkle top with morsels Bake 50-60 minutes at 350.
