Question for Bev re: her slow cooker spaghetti sauce

Hi Bev! I printed out your slow cooker recipe for the sp. sauce and it is making my mouth water!
I plan to make this tomorrow. I couldn't find bulk turkey sausage at the store so I got links. My questions
is should I slice them and cook in the pan OR squeeze the meat out of the casings,crumble up and
then brown? If you could let me know your opinion that would be great! Thanks! Linda
