BAKING FOR KIDS...       03/23/03 12:47 PM Edit Reply Quote SharonMello Reged: 01/22/03 Posts: 996 Loc: Groveland, CA Hi all you Moms out there - On the side of the flour bag was this ad for children's cookbooks called ALPHA-BAKERY and RAINBOW BAKERY. Each is 72 pages full color childrens' cookbooks. It says that the Betty Crocker Kitchens are trying to help "little chefs" learn how to bake by offering fun, easy-to-follow recipes and activities. For those of you who live where the weather "sucks" (pardon the expression, please!), this would be a good indoor activity. Here's the pertinent info: Cost $2.50 each but you need the order form that was on the package of flour: Gold Medal Unbleached Flour (it might be on all the GM flours--I don't know).
