ITALIAN TEST KITCHEN PIZZA

Hi, Made little pizzas tonight for me and him using the ready made pizza shells in the personal size (about 6" dia). Although they had cheese cooked on them, I bought them anyway just for a test. Dan didn't know I used all soy products on it until after he ate it. I used Trader Joe's (Trader Giotto's) Bruschetta (an Italian tomato topping with fresh garlic and fresh basil) spread over the top (I used scissors to cut up the tomato pieces smaller than they were), put Yves Veggie Cuisine Veggie Ground Round Original flavor on for the "meat" and then grated Soya Kaas Mozzarella cheese on top. Sprinkled some garlic powder over the "meat" before I put it in the oven. 450 for 10 min and they were hot and the cheese was melted. They were pretty good. Probably would be good for the kiddies, too. Yves has a website:

I asked Dan how he liked it and he said it was great. Then I told him what it had on it. He was pretty surprised, to say the least. He actually thought I was eating real pizza. Boy, did I fool him.

Mama Mia, that'sa pizza! (First pizza I've had in 1-1/2 yrs) and it was good. Yum.
