How Much Lemon Juice       01/12/04 05:12 PM Edit Reply Quote Bevvy Reged: 11/04/03 Posts: 5918 Loc: Northwest Washington State I made the bread, but I used TOO MUCH fresh lemon juice -- and we ultimately had to cut off the "crust", it was just too strong. You don't want it thick because you want it to seep into the little holes you make on the top of the bread. As I recall, the recipe calls for 1/4 cup lemon juice -- I personally don't think you need that much; next time I'm cutting it in half. By the way, it's excellent bread.
