Most bouillon cubes contain MSG and chicken fat, and some even contain lactose or whey (both dairy products). So if you want chicken broth, look for canned or aseptically packaged (in cartons like soy milk) broth that is fat- and MSG-free. If you want vegetable broth, same deal.
