Easy Spanish Rice

I found this easy recipe for Spanish Rice and thought I should share it. I just made it today and it tastes great! It's mildly seasoned, if you like it spicier you could add more chili powder or even some cumin. Enjoy!

Spanish Rice

1 can (14 1/2 ounces) vegetable broth
1 can (14 1/2 ounces) stewed tomatoes (I used Italian style)
1 cup uncooked long grain rice
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp garlic salt'

In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients. (I use kitchen sheers and cut up some of the bigger tomato pieces before adding.) Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20-25 min or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.

Yields 6 servings.
