help I need to quickly defrost my shrimp!       12/31/03 01:25 PM Edit Reply Quote Debby Reged: 11/05/03 Posts: 460 Loc: Cleveland, Ohio Hello - I just picked up some shrimp cocktail for tonight and it's as hard as a rock. I have about 2 hours to safely defrost it. I have heard that defrosting under cold water is okay? Anyone have any ideas? I'm just so excited that shrimp cocktail is on the "safe" list.
