Re: finally bought an ice cream maker       05/25/09 05:58 AM Edit Reply Quote Jo658 Reged: 06/02/08 Posts: 17 Loc: Texas Chocolate Sorbert... low fat and yummy 1 c sugar 3 c water 2 T acacia fiber (optional) 3/4 c cocoa powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons vanilla Heat sugar until it melts and begins to carmelize. Stirring frequently. Lower heat and add water, cocoa powder, acacia fiber (if using) and salt. Mix well and let cool about 2 minutes. Add vanilla and chill in refrigerator.
