Blueberry icecream       06/25/08 01:08 PM Edit Reply Quote steffiejoy Reged: 11/26/07 Posts: 247 Loc: Cleveland, Ohio Hey all I wanted to make this but I have a question about a substitution: Blueberry Ice Cream Step 1 4 cups blueberries 1 cup sugar 1/3 cup water Combine the above ingredients in a saucepan and boil for 5 minutes, then puree. Step 2 2 cups heavy cream 1 tablespoon lemon juice Add these ingredients after step one is completed. Mix together and strain Follow directions on icecream maker Heavy Cream: Can I substitute it for Soy milk?? Or should I use a Soy Creamer? When I was looking at non-dairy creamers I saw that they had sodium caseinate- a milk derivative- I thought we couldnt have that?? Thanks for your help!!!
