chocolate chip ice cream recipe!!!!

Ok, so I have an ice cream maker and searched for easy recipes for non dairy ice cream. They all have weird ingredients I don't have (like gelatin, apple juice, arrowroot, etc...)
So I took the regular ice cream recipe, modified it and got an AMAZING ice cream:
I mixed:
1 cup almond milk (vanilla)
3/4 cup sugar

then I added 2 cups of soy creamer
1 teaspoon of vanilla

Put it in the ice cream maker for 20 min
Last 5 min added chopped non dairy choco chips

I could eat all of it. It thickened nicely and the almond gives it a unique flavor even my husband loved. (As he ate his fattening real strawberry ice cream!)

Give this a try, it's quite yummy!! And you can mix in anything during those last 5min. I think next time I'll do cookies and make cookies and cream. YUM!
