I love this recipe. It came from Quick Cooking. I only had to substitute ground turkey for the ground beef. You can put all the other ingrediants in a bag, spices in a plastic bag and store it in the cupboard and then just get it out with the meat and you will have dinner in about 30 min.
1 Pound of ground turkey 2 cans (14-1/2 oz) stewed tomatoes 1/4 cup dried onion (I usually use reg. onions and cook with turkey) 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon chili powder 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1/4 teaspoon sugar 1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
In a skillet, brown turkey; drain. Add tomatoes and seasonings: bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 min. Uncover; simmer until macaroni is tender and sauce it thickend. Makes 4 servings.
