To make things ripen faster you can put them in a brown paper bag(closed). Most fruit you need to add and apple or an avacado to the bag because as they ripen they give off a gas which helps the other fruit to ripen faster. But with bananas you don't need to do this.

Just wait untill they are mostly darken but not going rotten or "melting" which I have happen with bananas. They kind of drip. HTH
