crock pot oatmeal       08/21/07 07:02 AM Edit Reply Quote Pud Reged: 06/20/07 Posts: 256 Loc: Long Island After asking about breakfast ideas, a poster mentioned crockpot oatmeal. I went out and bought a crockpot and made some oatmeal for this morning. It didn't come out very well. I put two cups of oatmeal, 6 cups of water, some cinnamon and brown sugar. When I woke up this morning it appeared as though all of the brown sugar formed a solid mass on top and didn't absorb into the oatmeal. I added some more before I ate it, but it just wasn't that great.
