Banana Chips - How can you screw this up?       07/15/07 04:55 PM Edit Reply Quote DianeM Reged: 12/05/06 Posts: 173 Loc: Kentucky Last night I tried to make the Home-Dried Sweet and Chewy Banana Chips from the IBS Cookbook. I followed the directions, which are as simple as you can get, but the bananas remained soft and wouldn't dry. I left them in the oven for almost 4 hours before I gave up. Should I have left them in longer? The recipe just says to bake for "several hours." Is there a trick to this I don't know about? Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
