Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise has 90 fat calories per Tablespoon; Vegenaise has 80 fat calories per Tablespoon; Hellmann's Reduced Fat Mayonnaise (what I use) has 20 fat calories per Tablespoon. So Vegenaise has just about as much fat per Tablespoon as plain old mayonnaise. That means you need to use it cautiously, keeping in mind how much fat you're adding to a dish. I could *probably* tolerate it thinly spread on a sandwich - especially one made on a roll so there's more bread - but I couldn't handle it as much of it as I'd need in a pasta salad, for example.
