I used white pepper and a bit more than called for and some very fresh paprika, so with the rutabaga it has quite a bite! I do think I would add two tsp. of worcestershire sauce next time. I found I had to add a couple of drops to the bowl to give it just that extra bit of depth. It would really be missing its character without the rutabaga though! Very "fall flavored"!!
