12 servings is still a pretty big recipe, so it'll probably take about the same time to cook. I second what Kree says - crockpots are so forgiving, and with something that's cooking in a sauce like that (sloppy joe, chili), it's almost impossible to overcook it.

Chicken breasts are about the only thing I can think of that you can ruin in a crockpot. LOL!
