Halving (halfing?) a slow cooker recipe?

I can post the recipe later, but in general, if you're halving (making half the amount of the recipe) a slow cooker recipe, would you reduce the cooking time as well?

I have a turkey sloppy joe recipe that makes 24 servings, but I only need 12, so I thought I'd just make half if possible. Thanks!
