This actually took less than 20 mins! And my BF loved it! I adapted it from a recipe on ontariomaple.com.
1/2 cup (125 ml) maple syrup 2 Tbsp (30 ml) cider vinegar (I used rice wine vinegar) 2 Tbsp (30 ml) sherry (I used chicken broth) 2 Tbsp (30 ml) soy sauce 2 tsp (10 ml) ground ginger 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 tsp (2 ml) pepper 1/4 tsp (1 ml) paprika 4 chicken breasts Flour for dredging
Combine all ingredients except chicken & flour. Marinate chicken for a few mins. Dredge chicken in the flour. Saute on medium heat in nonstick pan sprayed w/Pam until cooked all the way through.
I only made 2 chicken breasts, but made the full amount of marinade. I used 1/2 on the chicken & drizzled the other half over cooked whole wheat spaghetti & also some green beans. It was kind of like lo mein!
