this was a tradition for my family at T'giving and I know both straws and rhubarb are good for relieving constipation-so this is probably not a good recipe for D-IBSers to eat - I'd love to make this pie for T'giving but have never made it before.....my Mom was not a baker, she bought everything, put whipped cream on it and we all pretended she'd baked it. lol Thanks for the help!
