I'm on a rice-based-salad kick right now, because I have a shiny new rice cooker - which means cooking without heating up the kitchen, yay! But pasta salads work too - just do the cooking at night or in the morning, when it's cooler, and it's not so unbearable. So yeah. Pretty much all I eat in the hot weather is salads and fruit, and grilled food when we actually have propane (unlike now, sigh). Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
