banana bread       06/15/06 02:49 AM Edit Reply Quote seggy Reged: 04/24/06 Posts: 255 Loc: North East of England, UK hi everyone I got this recipe from this site so I'm sorry if you've discussed it before but I couldn't find it again in the index... well anyway I made it last night and it is sooooo yummy!!! whoever posted this recipe first is a wonderful person It's got a little bit oil and loads of SF with the banana's here it is.... 4 ripe mashed banana's 2/3 cup of sugar 1/3 cup of oil (I used olive oil and it worked fine) 13/4 plain flour 2 tsps baking powder 1/4 tsp baking soda (bicarbonate of soda) 1/2 tsp salt mix everything together and cook at 350C (gas mark 4) for 55-60 mins. my mam told our neighbours you were sitting out in the garden I was baking and so she took some out to eat and I was like aaahhhh :s I hope they like it (not being the most confident of cooks ) lol but they loved it!
