Non-wheat, non-yeast, non-dairy BREAD       05/11/06 08:51 PM Edit Reply Quote asb Reged: 05/10/06 Posts: 1 Does anyone have such a recipe for a bread that rises and is soft like sandwich bread? It can be either machine or hand made. I've tried a lot of recipies but most are dense like soda bread and dry, crumbly or just plain bland. I've tried the yeast free summer bread from French Meadow Bakery and the Flax Millet bread from Sami's bakery. However, I think the companies let this bread rise and capture the "free" wild yeast in the air in order for it to rise. All my recipes call for soda and or baking powder but none seem to do right.
