What do you mean by HearthKit? Is that clay tiles in your oven? I was going to get tiles for my oven to make french bread but haven't yet. We have a bakery hear that makes great french bread and there's no preservatives in it. I'm sure he bakes it in this manner. The crust is great! You can't get crust like that just by placing it in a pan & baking it. These buns sound good!
