I saw this at Safeway today with the soy ice cream etc... with the holidays coming up, just wondering if anyone has tried it. I will buy one next week and keep it in the freezer for Thanksgiving.... gotta have some on my pumpkin pie!!

Hip Whip
Do you have dreams of light, fluffy, sweet clouds of whipped cream on your pumpkin pie? Or something equally airy to top your tofu-ice cream sundae? Yet perhaps you've steered clear of cholesterol-laden whipping cream, and feared the hydrogenated oils and unpronounceable chemicals in those "non-dairy" whipped toppings (actually, they're not truly non-dairy -- they contain casein, a milk derivative). Now & Zen present HipWhip, the first truly non-dairy, real food answer to to whipping cream. With a base of tofu and sweetened with fruit juice concentrate and brown rice syrup, Hip Whip fills your mouth with fluffy sweetness without hydrogenated oils, corn syrup, or synthetic chemicals. In addition to being a great topping for pumpkin pie and ice cream, try Hip Whip with fresh fruit, on cobblers, strawberry shortcake and as a cake icing. One fan reports that he enjoys it on toast with jam.

Hip Whip is sold in 7.5-ounce tubs in the frozen food section of your natural food store. Once thawed, it can be served by the dollop on top of desserts, or re-whipped for an even creamier texture. It even holds up beautifully to piping out of a pastry bag for decorating cakes.

Ingredients:

Water, grape juice concentrate, expeller-pressed canola oil, cocoa butter, tofu, brown rice syrup, cashew butter, agar agar, guar gum, vanilla.
