Technique question for IBS cookbook recipe       02/08/06 07:36 AM Edit Reply Quote tmc Reged: 03/07/05 Posts: 16 This pertains to the fantastic Vietnamese Lemongrass Chicken recipe from the IBS cookbook. I LOVE this recipe and have made it several times. My question concerns the caramel sauce--I always run into trouble when I pour the water in at the end--the syrup always gums up into a sticky ball which I then have to rework back into a liquid by carefully scraping the ball off two spoons. This doesn't always work and I've had to throw the whole thing out and start over a couple times. I must be doing something wrong here--any suggestion or techniques?
