It was rather easy to find, in the healthfood section of my local grocery store (zehrs). I tried the rice parmesan flavour, tonight, and IT'S AWESOME! It doesn't taste like rubber or glue like some of the fake stuff I've tried. Great texture. I also bought the mozzarella to try when inspired. So, my conclusion is YOU ARE RIGHT re: rice cheese.
