I cook with wine all the time! I don't have any problems with cooked wine although lots of problems with fresh wine. I don't know, however, about drug interaction. If you can't use wine you can always substitute broth. I can't think of any other acceptable substitute. I think if the pharmacy says it is okay you should try it.
