Peanut Butter-Granola Gorp

1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup maple-flavored syrup
1 cup low-fat granola with raisins (such as Kellogg's Low-fat Granola with Raisins) not sure if this has HFCS, but it is high in IF so use caution
32 tiny fat-free pretzels, broken into small pieces
Cooking spray
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries (such as Craisins)

Preheat oven to 300°.
Combine peanut butter and syrup in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at high 30 seconds or until hot; stir well. Place granola and pretzels in a large bowl; pour peanut butter mixture over granola mixture, stirring to coat. Spread mixture in a single layer on a jelly-roll pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 300° for 25 minutes, stirring twice. Stir in raisins and cranberries; return pan to oven. Turn oven off; cool mixture in closed oven 30 minutes. Remove from oven; cool completely.

Yield: 3 1/2 cups (serving size: 1/2 cup)

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
