FROM MOTTS: Orchard BBQ Sauce

This looks like a winner, too!


2 cloves garlic minced
1 - 24 oz jar applesauce
1/2 c apple-cider vinegar
1/2 c tom paste
1/4 c molasses
1/4 c soy sauce
1 tsp paprika
1/4 to 1/2 tsp ground red pepper (opt)

1. spray med nonstick saucepan w/cooking spray. Heat over med heat until hot. Add garlic and stir 2-3 min. DO NOT BROWN.

2. Add applesauce, vinegar, tom paste,, molasses, soy sauce, paprika and pepper. Stir til blended. Incr heat to hi and bring mixture to boil. Cover, reduce heat to low. Simmer 10 minutes stirring occasionally.

3. Store up to 2 weeks in tightly sealed container in fridge.
