I usually don't use fresh herbs because I usually end up buying them and then they go bad by the time I want to use them...or I have to buy a whole bundle and I live alone and only need a bit.
So, I was shopping at Trader Joes yesterday and I found these new products in the frozen veggie section. Dorot Herbs They are so cool. Just keep in your freezer and pop out a cube or two for when you need them! I bought the Basil, Parsley, and garlic (not shown in the web site but they do have it)...if I ever get the nerve to try garlic! One cube equals one clove garlic. They stay edible in the freezer for a long, long time...
Now, I just need to find some recipes that require fresh basil and parsley so I can use them! I should have gotten the dill, as I eat a lot of fish. Next time for sure!
