Canada I did find the muffins to be kinda plain - but they never tasted like flour. Maybe you did mess something up? If it's any consolation - I have messed up more recipes than anyone I am sure. I usually measure the ingredients exactly just so there are so mess ups, including having the measuring cups flattened off. Because even a little extra anything can cause you problems. PS - I did answer both your posts LOL.
