Hey Jules,

I do just about the same thing, similar recipe only without soy (rice or almond milk instead) and some Acacia... and I use quite a few ice cubes in a high speed blender. I drink it about 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. before morning aerobics..then when I get home, like you, tank up on carbs.
Works wonders for me too.

Shell, I don't know why this wouldn't work keeping it in a thermos, except what I would do would be to use alt. milk ice cubes so it didn't get to watered down and then shake it good before you drink it. The ice cubes may have melted just enuf to keep it slushy like a milk shake. Kandee
