I put in 1/2 cup sugar- too much for my tastes, DH liked it... I put about a teaspoon of vanilla in- straight from the bottle... I found powdered egg whites in the baking aisle at Meijers by the cocoa and shortening... it was a little can with the equivelant of 21 egg whites in it!
