I can't believe I forgot to share this!! I've made these a couple of times, and they're so tasty and flavorful. 'Tis the season for grilling again... yay!
Peking Chicken Burger
1/2 cup green onions (I've made these with and without the onions and it's good both ways) 3 cloves garlic, minced 2 egg whites or 1/4 cup Egg Beaters, beaten and seasoned with salt and pepper 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce 2 teaspoons sesame oil 1/4 cup breadcrumbs 1 lb ground chicken (I actually use turkey)
1. Preheat grill to medium-high; mix onion with garlic, egg, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil in a large bowl until well combined. 2. Crumble ground chicken into the bowl and add breadcrumbs; incorporate well. 3. Divide into 4 parts. 4. Shape into 4 patties, about 10-cm wide. 5. Grill the patties. 6. Turn once; about 10 minutes.
