--1 lb. firm or extra firm tofu (lowfat) --1 c. bread crumbs (season with garlic salt, Mrs. Dash, or Spike) --1 tbsp. nutritional yeast --1/3 cup soy milk
1. Drain tofu. 2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 3. Stand the tofu on its side and cut into 3 slices. Then cut it diagonal to get 6 triangles. 4. Mix breadcrumbs with desired seasonings and nutritional yeast flakes. Dip the tofu triangles into soy milk and then breadcrumbs and coat well. 5. Bake for 20 minutes, turning once. (Use Pam to avoid sticking on baking pan.) Bake longer to get a "crispier" texture if desired.
